I run full skip now because i can file it quicker and i dont use a 32"bar enough for the durability to even matter...and it clears chips better.
Ryan are you going to the pa gtg

My 461s oil a 32 with 50 gauge just tits.

I think timber fallers like the 63 not so much for the oil capacity but the stability of the chain on the rails..atleast thats what my friends say.

For occasional firewood cutting its a non issue...go with whats available to you locally incase you need to buy a chain in a pinch.

.050 is baby chain

Depends on your cutting style ,i run 32 on everything ,tip does not poke but a couple inches out the back ,i seldom buck logs close to the dogs ,just keep the chain as sharp as i can ,i cut balsa type wood though so what works for me may not other places .with the long bar do not have to bend over to cut also ,saves the back some . Felling trees i will use the dogs to line up my cuts though and use that end of the bar.

Mine are R models but ive put the bolt/piston in some other saws now..its worth it.
May seem like a silly question man, but are you saying that they oil basically the same....

I only ask because I have thought about putting th HO pump/piston or HO pump in for the long bar.....I will definitely run the 32" bar with the stock oiler before doing anything, to see how it oils....

I cant say i paid close enough attention bruh..

But..i put the 461R pump parts in one of my 361s thats ported and i just ran it yesterday with 28" on a good sized removal and it wet the bar good...and the saw has the balls to pull it with full skip.
