MS391 Porting...Is it worth it?

I built this 290 for Phil.....
Was no slouch

Wow! We have a couple 290's at work and they are absolute dogs, bone stock of course. The OE 346 I rebuilt last year (with OE spec OEM top end) out cuts them six ways from sunday. That saw you built looks very respectable, nice work!

Sad to say, there ain't nothin special about it.
Just port matched the intake & exhaust.
Took a little pile of aluminum outta the intake....dats about it.
Otherwise...no timing advance or any other mods besides muffler.
