From your video it looked normal.
This Mtronic ported 441 sounds just like your Mtronic 241. I had a 661 here a while ago... from what I remember it sounded similar. 562, 550 and 572 does it too. Seems normal for electrically controlled carbs. I think it’s because the carb tries to run as lean a air/fuel mixture as possible on L jetting to make the epa happy.

Wow, just wow! Who would have thought, a site that is full blown about modifying chainsaws using a part not specifically designated for a certain model, blasphemous. I can still fondly remember the Lakeside days of AS, drove him batty if anything not condoned by , Stihl corporate ,was done to a saw caused the earth to tilt on its axis. You tell em Ryan.

While you are checking obvious stuff, make sure the winter shutter is in the summer position so it isn't drawing heated air from the cyl fins....
Also never hurts to go thru the saw, blow it out, give it a thorough cleaning. That's s.o.p. for me when diagnosing saws. Just my opinion, ymmv.

Yes it went through a complete tear down. I’ve landed on new gaskets in the carb and doing crank seals. Cheap insurance.
