Oh boy. Here we go...
Ding, ding... Dallas spoke highly of me....I can tell...
Not sure why your doubting the hardness of the wood in my vids...‍♂️
If you feel you must, then ok...
Don’t believe Dallas has ever spoken of you to me, let alone poorly.

I just want some of that good cutting maple that grows out there

Kevin your doing good considering they didn’t give much to work with. You going to mess with the transfers at all.
They look decent. Location and direction are good. Makes it difficult to change them much also since they’re so far up in there

She looks good, the timing is nice, like you mentioned more timing or the need in a
Bump in compression. Compression isn’t easy on a clamshell! Nice job

Saw looks much betterer Kev. Good work as usual.

Where is squish?

In that saw, a welded popup might work fine. In higher rpm saws, I’ve always wondered weather or not the extra weight would offset any gains the increased compression made.

Did you pull a compression reading just for shiz and goggles?

If I recall the exhaust on the few I've checked was already at 96 after .So I've been reluctant to raise it up .Actually the only one I ever tinkered with being a 6-10 I only widen the exhaust a little bit .

Mark tested compression when he rebuilt it and got 155. I measured squish at .046

[QUOTE="huskihl, post: 976014, member: 360" I measured squish at .046[/QUOTE] Which coincidently is about what most stock Stihls are that I've measured in stock form .
