I have had several saws done by Mr. Evans aka Mastermind and wanted to share my experiences. Before I ever did business with him i called him a few times and asked him some questions and he always made time for me and was extremely helpful. I have been very impressed with every saw he has done for me they are very strong runners! I highly recommend him great saw builder and an even better person. If you are thinking of having your saw ported be sure to check him out.

Randy has increased the chainsaw fun in my life.

And I'll tell you what: It's a little weird sending a brand new saw and a check to someone you've never talked to face to face or shook hands with. I'm not a very trusting person by nature because of lessons I've learned the hard way. People can be very dishonest and this chainsaw building business is no exception as one can tell by reading about experiences on these forums. I've only had two saws done by Randy but my experiences with him have been GREAT. It's not only how the saws run but also his attention to detail that impresses me. Little things that he doesn't have to do but does because he takes pride in his work.

Randy's already met the 6100. Nobody (that I know of) has done a build thread on the 800p. I'm curious how close he can make it run to those 665 hybrid's he just built.

Ive had the same experience with Mr. Randy. He is top notch in my book. Ive never met him but if he called and needed anything I would drop what I was doing and drive to Tennesse to help. Thanks!

i have been reading on here and on as about builders porters and after alot of reading i asked randy to do one of mine havent talked to him on the phone i try not to bother anyone when they are busy . i am ready to send my saw off and having a fun toy to enjoy
