Found this for sale, wondering if they are a viable saw.
Are parts still available, are they the pro or home owner version.

The spec I found says 5.8kg 3.3hp
Seems he put it on High Idle, so not a cold start, did I get that right, difficult to see.

How does the DCS520 saw compare the 5001?

How does the DCS520 saw compare the 5001?
I have no idea, never saw a 5001, but it seems the 520 is a Dolmar 111, its an older saw, 52cc and a little low
on the power to weight ratio, but it could have good torque, I never used one or seen on other than on the tube,
and they do seem to cut well, seem high revving to me. The owner is looking for too much anyway, 300.00 Euro,
that's over half way to a modern saw with more power less weight and parts that are still available, so I will be passing
on it.

Here's my 520i with an 18" bar:

It starts and runs great but tends to leak bar oil while at rest. The chain break engages too easily (almost a hair trigger) in my book, but I live with it. Not sure if that has a simple cure.
