I might be able to work on part of it and let the rest hold the door for me at the same time maybe.

Decided to do something about the snaust. Had other ideas floating around and decided to go conventional. I am however debuting a new attachment method.

First have to get some holes made and some @Red97 deflectors trimmed up.


Was thinking about a better way to attach these diverters, when it finally dawned on me, just do it the way the factory would and spot weld it.


This is kind of easy to do.


Makes for a strong attachment as well as a clean look to it.

A little exhaust header paint and she is good to go.

Looks pretty good no?


Held the first one with my thumb on the other side and didn't press down hard enough on the spot welder. Heated under my thumb instead. Didn't do that again. Lol

I can't imagine that they are terrible expensive, but I don't know. This one was in his shop unused in a box for a few years. So it's staying here now, if he needs it I guess I'll let him borrow it. Lol

The only thing that would make it any gooder. Would be if the deflectors where made from that Spam can.

I would think that for guys like Randy @Mastermind and the rest of the fellas doing a lot of this sort of work a unit like this would be worth having.
