I re used emNice job Deets, I see by looking at those rivet heads on the cutter by your thumb you were able to re use the 76 preset(or did you find new presets?). I've reused presets many times on my race chain in the past. Just use the smaller .250-.325 spinner anvil to make a neat head.
I got a bunch of brand new 20" loops of Oregon 76LG and some really nice Stihl 33TS chain that I'm hoarding.

Those are Grandberg , handy tool on and off the job. Haven't used them for about 15 years since buying a bench mounted breaker and spinner.Lots of old cool saw-stuff you have Willard, I wonder if 'Peterson' made those Break-n-Mend vise grip pliers. Look like they paid for themselves a few times over.
Yep, mine is a peterson.Lots of old cool saw-stuff you have Willard, I wonder if 'Peterson' made those Break-n-Mend vise grip pliers. Look like they paid for themselves a few times over.
Are You making a Full House loop?Put some full sized 72/73/75 LP cutters on that 76 chassis like Deets066 did above. Like this .
Except I need more spare presets and replace the rest of the 76 cutters.
3/8 High Tooth chain

No I just stuck a full size 3/8 cutter on the 76LG to show the differences for everyone to see.Are You making a Full House loop?
I have to tweak mine, it has chip clearance issues in "stock" form.

Fun process huh, what cutters did you useMy 3 and 5 was thinned from inside and then on 76 chassis.
I sold all my nos 76 to the race chain makers. All I have left is a 76dl used chain if someone needs one for chassis.
I have his 1/2" Full House Race chain It is remarkable, but I have never run it on anything yetArt Martin was a big fan of the full house race chain. He may have had some good answers to the chip clearance issues. But I suppose his chain would be dog boned, tunnelled, clipped heels and maybe the back 1/3rd of the cutter removed. You don't see many F/H race chains but he swore by them if they were done right.
