I did some more testing with the saw over the weekend.

The timing light said there was around 25° so I put a little more to it. It will occasionally pull back a little on the rope now.

The cut times got worse, and tuning is harder to find the sweet spot. It lost 17% in the cut time. When I get a chance when it's not raining I'll go the other way with the timing.

After going all over the place with ignition timing I landed back where I started. About 1/3 the keyway, 25 deg with my timing light.

I wanted more RPM in the cut so I tore it back down and raise the exhaust up some. Here is where I landed.

It's holding another 700 RPM or so in the cut, the cut times don't really show it being faster but I'm much happier with it.

The inner and outer spikes came in from NZ. They are quite a bit bigger, but they don't use us a lot more bar. They are pretty thick, I won't be bending them!

And they match up very well. Now it feels like a 2 series!

I do wish the studs were just a bit longer, with the outside spike on only 3/4 of the nut is threaded. It does make it hard to get the nuts started.

Hello, great build.
Since you use husky 262 piston...may I ask you to take some measurement of the piston.
The piston height is 1.635"... but I need a height from top of the pin to top of the piston, and a width of roller bearing shoulders.
What is the needle bearing size? ID/OD/W 12/15/13mm?
THX
