It'sbeen quite a while since I've seen that. Lifting the head or deck on anything is never good. Glad your OK! Maybe those beast should have a leakdown test before putting in da dip? Just a thought. Hope mine dont do that, yikes....

Maybe a Kevlar straps and a bag would make you happier next time. No fire so Nomex and a firebottle are unnecessary at this point. How much percent of Nitro were you running? Did it hydraulic? Did you at least get a record time cut before such carnage?

It failed in the cut under load....I had it running 40% and it was singing....it was 147 cc....back to the bench ....it guess I got greedy with the nitro it seemed to like it though...it didn't want to run away like they do sometimes

I have two Mac 101's with the HL360 gas carb and have had nothing but
problems with them. Same issues on both saws. Won't pump fuel at an idle.
I've tried what i thought was everything but they still run out of fuel at idle.
