Do dual reeds help these out much. I have a p60 that I ported and added a boost port to that runs pretty good, but there is always better.
It's supposed to help top end power a good amount. It also helps them not load up on extended periods of idling. Do you have any pics of the boost port you added?

J, you want everything! How's anyone supposed to keep track of it all? o_O

You too, Joe!

.... not to rub it in, but I have one and love it!

I keep a ledger, something my College Accounting Professor and Accountant Mother have drilled into my skull. As far as wanting everything, we all know I have major case of C.A.D.

I have them in a 655 I have (non ported) and them seem to help some. The smaller top layer will open and close at idle and low speeds and the bottom does at WFO. I think the way they help the most is a couple of ways 1) They keep the intake velocity up at low speeds which make for a better throttle response. 2) They open/close faster at WFO which will shift the intake timing (more degrees of crankcase compression) and my stock saw seems to like this.

These are just my thoughts

I think I did at the time, but that was 2 computers and 3 phones ago... so they are long gone.
