I worked with a guy once, total douchebag, had a pocket full of paper with his name and # on them. Handed them out to anything without a dick. If 1 of 20 worked, he was proud. He was married at the time with two kids.
The aggressive ones, the silver tounges may get more clients, but no repeat customers.

no sir scott you are a awesome guy with talent of porting and repairing saws. every time i run that 028 it puts a smile on my face i couldn't be happier with the work and im grateful you repaired it for me. when i hit the lottery i know who i going to send my money to. you deserve it man.

My next US import saw will be TM ported. Torque is king in our hardwoods. Scott asks questions like is this a short bar or long bar build, I've seen his short bar saws...their fast, I've seen his long bar saws compared to others and their fast with strong torque. He can build a full circle crank, fabricate and match an expansion chamber, presses out his own exhaust port outlets, was cutting cylinders by hand long before others accepted the concept. All this stuff shows competence & knowledge that is not mirrored from other builders work. He probably 'should' be the busiest builder around.
