I've got rocky mountain spotted fever again. Taking Doxycycline for it. The antibiotics make me feel terrible.

Hope you get better soon. Ticks are awful in Tennessee. My dad got sick for 2 weeks very sick from a tick. They told him it wasn’t Rocky Mountain or lymes disease. It was a rare condition I can’t remember the name but they sent him to Chattanooga to a blood specialist that works with AIDS patients for treatment with the infection he got from a tick. High fever and extremely fatigued for over 2 weeks. I hope for a quick recovery for you.

My wife is being treated right now for Lyme Meningitis and Babesiosis. Doxycycline, Ibuprofen and Oxycodone. I've never seen her in such pain; for awhile the Ibuprofen couldn't touch it. No sleep for three days. Trip to the ER for a spinal tap. Symptoms of Bell's palsy now.

When I catch a tick, I like to scrape its head off between my nails. Get better soon, guys.

Is it weird if I take a much slower approach and burn their little mfing heads off with a match? Yeah I have a pretty healthy hate for em... Especially the ones I find on my kids.

I had it for a long time. Never knew I had it. I'm asymptomatic.
Doctor that treated me said I had it so bad I should have had malaria type symptoms. ‍[emoji3603]
Never really skipped a beat. Lucky I guess.

I have Lyme's disease, caught it early (12ish days from removing the tick). Taking the same Doxy for it since Friday; haven't experienced any side effects from the medicine yet.

i typically find a hard surface and slowly smash with the flat of my pocket knife. creates a satisfying crunch.
