I'm interested to know why Randy? Is it because you've done so many? Or the gains that are possible?

Neither.

I do this for a living.....and the 660/066 is an easy saw to do. After machine work, the exhaust and intake ports are in good locations. So the transfers are where the port work is done. A little clearance work on the case, gut the muffler, port match, and open the outlet, advance the timing, and its outta here.

Had my eye drilled once for metal, that was enough for me. I try and wear my safety glasses now. Physical strength was never gonna be my strength but I have gotten by with using what's between my ears, a strong work ethic and paying attention not to make the same mistake twice. You said earlier the 462 wasn't a model you cared for, can i ask what specifically you DNT like?

Not enough power seemed like. I like to be able to hang a 32” on 70cc saws. Chassis seemed too small for it, or maybe the handles were too close together. I see why guys would like em with a 20” though.

What eye protection do you all use? Too often I have felt like I'm wearing glasses without lenses. I can't remember, but I think I went to blow sawdust off a part with glasses on, and the instant the air hit it sawdust went all in my eyes. I recently got a bead of aluminum in one eye from the lathe with a different pair of glasses, luckily it wasn't a sharp chip, I thought an eyelash fell in at first until I went and looked.

To me the 462 is a 25" max type saw.

I use an old pair of dirtbike/atv goggles now after I got shavings blown in my eye with normal glasses. They look rediculous lol. But they work well.
