My MMWS 395 wears a 42" bar - and it has oil to spare, no issues whatsoever keeping it well oiled.

Like wise on my 395 , no trouble at all oiling a 42 inch bar

The one randy did for me is partnered with a 36" .404 bar. It likes it just fine!

Ok....first of all, this is not really a build thread. Just a good place to chat about these big Husqvarnas. I'll gladly take some pictures, and share anything about how I do these saws. There are 4 395XPs, and 2 3120XPs on the bench for this week.

It sure is. It was running incredibly well for the past week plus. Chit happens, builder is standing behind it like a boss and you can't ask for much more than that.

Well, rings don’t hang for no reason. There’s a fine line there where roof arch, width, and bevel are all factors.

Yep. When you're chasing everything a saw may have, sometimes these things happen. I aint mad. It goes back under the knife soon for part 2.
