Husky can do whatever they want. Lol

It will be a matter of time before we have a app on are phones to diagnose them just like a vehicle.
I'm surprised that it doesnt exist already.

Right now we are on mercy to our dealers, I've moved all my business to one dealer, nowadays I can drive to him and plug in my AT carbs and do my work, it worked out well for me.

Hopefully Husky/Stihl will change their system in future, make no sense for me that a customer cant plugin and get out the error codes, update firmware, or set their saw back to factory settings, but maybe those things will come on the 6×× serie?

It's just like a new truck
They don't sell the rights to am parts manufacturers or the equipment to scan it but they will.
People will do it anyway so they will let it go to the public.

If you look at the rc car world battery powered is the way to go. Unfortunately for chainsaws and wood stoves not so much. Again they can come and try to take em if they want.

The 536li XP is a very impressive small saw, guys that do a lot of work in buckets love them. I don't think that a viable battery powered option is as out of the question as many people think that it is.

I definitely agree won't be long. I for one wouldn't mind the battery route as long as it's better than the gas version. What I don't want is big brother telling me I need to use an inferior product to save the world. Besides I'll always have an old saw/truck and tractor around.
