At least it's not a strato. Looks a lot like a 461/661. I suspect you'll get good gains from this saw.

Hab ich leider nicht, hab damit gesägt zum Test und merke keinen Unterschied. Muss ich wohl zum örtlichen Händler morgen. Hatte gehofft es verhält sich wie bei den AT Huskys. Bei der 462 konnte man auch noch selbst kalibrieren.

Steph, du kannst die MS 500i auch wie die MS 462 C-M kalibrieren. Aber wenn die Kalibrierung mit Diagnosegerät gemacht wird, werden evtl. aufgelaufene Fehler mit angezeigt. Generell ist es nach solchen Eingriffen besser egal ob 462 oder 500i die Kalibrierung mit Diagnosegerät vorzunehmen.

haha not quite right but beating a ported 390 will be tough task i think, displacement is still a big factor in my eyes. But we will see

Judging by the video it’s probably as fast/faster than a stock 390? Our stock 390 isn’t much faster than a stock 372 or 7900 in cut speed. It does have a lot more grunt though.

this is always a problem for me in these comparisons, I just do not have a single stock saw in my inventory. I always have to look out for stock saws in my circle of acquaintances to do these stock saw tests

Soo, it's 54 bore? 37mm stroke?? Did they up the bore from 52 making it closer to 87cc? Last I saw it was supposed to be an 80cc saw ; 52 bore 38 stroke.

The saw has 79,2cc so the stroke must be around close to 35mm with a 54mm bore if i'm thinking right

Good way to help keep it light. Would also explain why they sound weak as far as grunt goes. Keep the revs up for the power. I still want one.
