Did it actually seize or just go way down on power?

Intake scoring usually means ingestion but with the scores all at the same height I'm wondering about the top of the intake port

multi point piston seizure can be indicative of a piston that's too tight for the bore.

Usually if the motor is cold then you start it and run it under a load. The top of the piston expands rapidly, while the jug is still cold. This is called "four-point seizure" and I've seen it mostly in snogo's.

Looks like it ate something through the intake and got on top of the piston.

Intake skirt scored and above the rings on the exhaust side,is that the correct damage? I didn't read all of it.

Never saw a problem running. Saw was running fine and was warmed up before it got in the wood. I ran three saws that day and went through nearly two gallons of mix. Checked the other two and they are fine.

No beating marks on top of the piston, cold seize which I've never seen or it was gassed.
