359/357 help please. I thought it would be a little easier to make a video than to type a book out asking several questions. Thanks for your help!

It looks like someone has assembled 346 worm gear, reason why there is too much side to side play. There is significant difference in them, see picture below. 357 worm gear has small shoulder against crankshaft. I discovered this when I was building my first 357.

You need new metal clamp and intake boot, new small spline clutch and .325 7 pin sprocket and worm gear.

I am in need of an oiler gear (worm) for a 181SE. I bought one from LRB, was supposed to be PN 503557501 but it didn't fit the crankshaft properly (I.D. too small) and it seems that the O.D. is too large to fit in the oil pump.

I've done a little more research and it looks like what I need is 501803001 but I'm hoping someone can confirm before I order something else that won't work.

Grabbed this nice cosmetically looking 345 cheap the other day. Top end smoked, so it will be either put back stock, or I may go the route of the 346 top end. It was too nice on the outside to pass it up for I gave for it.....;)View attachment 452554View attachment 452555
I have a 345 cylinder I think will clean up if you decide to go back with stock

The 345 is a clamshell design, the 346 is a split crankcase with a bolt on cylinder. They are not interchangeable.

Not quite true, if you get a stock Husqvarna 350 cylinder base like the one pictured below you can run a 346/350/353 top end on a 345.

I bought it about about 6 weeks ago. It did have fuel in it, but it was never used.
Bought the wrap handle because it was still available for an ok price.
Dear GerbrandR , those full wrap handles still available, sir . I have two cherry husqvarna 357xp and 359xp have maybe 5 minutes cut time. I was taking care of mom and
dad , run the gas out and set. I am going have ported and all those it tricks a little later in 2025. the full handles available let me kno sir. I also need parts for a 2100. The parts that help the handles at the bottom where come together and the aluminum chain stop. If you don't , please advise who may , help me in locating these parts,
Thanks Buck

Not sure about the US, but in The Netherlands there's a company shipping within Europe. According their website they have 5 in stock.
