I didn't look close enough at it, I assumed it said "McCulloch" on it...I looking into the plastic welding kit. Yellow and black, works for me..."and has a patented appearance (Patent Number D970324) for added distinctiveness and Fashion Features." ... well I'm sold!
575286901 husqvarna parts for the toolGuy brought a husky 562 mark 1 in and wants it fixed and for sure it needs crank bearings but not sure if it needs a crank also seems bit loose when tuning flywheel but that could also be the bad case bearing. Anyway what splitter tool do I need because the standard c-clamp style Husqvarna one I have doesn’t look like it will work. Need to get it pulled apart and don’t mind buying the proper tool to do it I have the 357/359 case tools and have only done one so far and may never do another other than the one I picked up for myself but still bought the proper one for 50-60$ do avoid a headache.
Hard to say how long it will last, you will definitely loose compression because of it and the plating may or may not lift from it hard to say. Personally I’d find a different one.Would you reuse this cylinder?
Theres a single scratch/groove on the exhaust side of the cylinder, catches a nail quite a bit.
Will it cause any issues in the longer run?

Its from a 346xp that i got quite some time ago, decided to get it going.
Besides that groove, crankshaft is a bit sloppy, but otherwise, the saw is in pretty good shape.
Suprisingly 346xp parts are not that common, i guess that it wasnt really popular saw overhere.
It would still pay for itself and I would run it if it was mine.Would you reuse this cylinder?

I would think so if it’s same as the 445/450 rancher like I think it isCan crank seals be changed in a 440 without removing the cylinder ... specifically the clutch side?

Didn’t know if they made a drive in seal like Stihl does so you can repair without splitting
