Thanks i have never seen that model here and i was only going too buy it check it over and sell it on if it's in good condition
444SG is more normal in Europe, in USA it's rare far as I've understood.
There isn't much value left in 444 nowadays, but if it's a nice one I would say it's worth something as collector view for those who wants to have one.
I never wanted an 444SG, but I was glad when I saw it in a batch I bought last year.

Hi everyone ;);) I believe that just do not make Husqvarna chainsaws bad. At my Husqvarna 455 Rancher 20-Inch, and of course, it is the best for me. Its main advantage - it saves fuel while maintaining power. It's perfect! I even found the information about it here

Husky had some versions of the 70 in the 1960s (from 1962), after they took over the design from the originator Cresent. Cresent mainly was making outboard engines, and the two brands made at deal that Husky should stop making such engines, while Cresent should leave the chainsaw business. Also, it likely was a factor that Husky needed to offer something lighter than the MS90/100 saws.
There was a Partner version of this design as well.

Husky replaced this design by the much better A65/A77 design some years later (still in the 1960s).

View attachment 21835 I thought I would share these , don't know much about the 50 special but hopefully will gain some knowledge

An upgraded version of the 50 (rancher), with a 45mm cylinder instead of a 44mm. It soon was replaced by the (further upgraded) 51 and 55.

I would expect it to be pretty much like the 51, and not much different from the 50 (rancher). Max rpm should be 12.500.

A large part of the 50 Special production (maybe 100%) took place in 1989, so no wonder it is from that year - actually I don't think I have heard of one that wasn't, and the first 51/55 IPL is dated January 1990:)

My first and only Husqvarna. No port work or even a muffler mod yet.

I did not like the wheels that came with it so I took the sturdy ones from my old tiller and installed them, I also had to stiffen up the wheel mounts to suit my likings.

I've got a 50 Special from 1990.
