Does husky do the xtorq thing on their 390xpg? It's a 2010 model, what are some things I should look out for when buying one?
I thought that was a given........Uh.....loose fasteners......
I was just being proactive, and heading off any comments from the Creamsicle Anchor Club.I thought that was a given........
How problematic are the heated handles. Do they usually work pretty well?
in general they work great.@Tor R should know he owns like 50% That husqvarna ever produced
Thanks and hows that heart doing?in general they work great.
My experience with them is that 5xx produce most heat with 3xx in second spot, 2xx produce less heat and has more wire issues.

Good to know, I know it needs a couple things, fuel tank assembly, Its busted off at the rear handle but its still usable, muffler got bashed in and is missing one of the support screws, according to the ipl I found its NLA? also needs a brake flag.No xtorq on the 390xp (yet!). It's a solid design. Look for little stuff like a stretched throttle cable, maybe cracks in the muffler, and the front-left top cover screw can be missing or stripped out. All cheap and easy stuff unless the saw has really been thrashed or run at 14,000 + rpm all day.
What's the hole in the front about?
