No.
Is there a filter or one way valve on the 395 oil tank vent? It looks like it could just be an open hole to me.
Just a tube facing up, the tube leads directly to the bar pad.

Actually, yes. There is an insert at the end of the tube to mitigate oil leakage. Tube w/insert are only a couple bucks. A grub screw would work if your tube is there with no insert.

Ok I have a new husqvarna 562xp autotune saw that when cutting with it , it just acts like it runs out of fuel after just a few seconds of cutting with it
I start the saw let it warm out for a minute or 2 before starting to cut and it runs for about the sane amount of time each time while cutting and wham dies like it ran out of fuel
Any ideas
Thanks in advance

How new is new? If it’s under warranty, take it in and have it checked. The computer keeps details on fuel ratios, as well as other things.

Will it idle without issues, or eventually die too? Try loosening the fuel cap before you start a horizontal cut Almost sounds like a plugged fuel vent.

Then I would check the fuel filter and line for kinks or cracks.

No it should be under warranty
But no it idles just fine just dies a few seconds after starting to cut
I will probably go to dealer tomorrow I just hate for them to have it for a while if it was a simple fix

Take a block of wood with you, bring the tech out to see it happen, and then stay until they hook it up. That way it won’t come home NTF.

What are common problems with the 395 brake system? My clutch cover had been sitting on the work bench for a year, nothing could have hurt it, but it looks like the brake has been triggered, and I can't unlock it. I've only ever cut with it twice, but I'm probably outside the warranty period, bummer.

Just finished another saw. This is a 1992 Husqvarna 254XP that I received as a box of parts from @Quzick a while back. There was a new oem crankshaft in the box so the cases got split/cleaned/painted and then everything reassembled with new bearings, seals, etc.. This wasn't a restoration - just a clean and rebuild project. Everything is oem except the muffler.

They're pretty stiff, I have to put mine on the saw to unlock it.

What's the deal with the new Husqvarnas leaking gas? 5 series saws do it, even my 395 does it. All the effort they put into designing these things and they can't get a simple little detail right.

Do they use the same clutch cover / brake as a 394/395?
No. But the spring inside is strong as hell. I've cut 1 loop of the spring in one of my 288 and it still brakes fine and release much easier. But I dont know if it has ill effects though.

None of mine ever leaked fuel. I occasionally replace rubber oil pump lines to stop bar oil weep.
