Frontier / husky 35,s were made in Trail BC Canada under huskyLooking at the IPL's of the Frontier saws and the 38 you have, the cylinder, single counter weight crankshaft and slip on rod, it really looks like a reclad Frontier engine.
Sure do like the couple I have great old school Husqvarna torque .2100CD. Serial 2991-015605 Silver tag. I decoded this as a 1980 saw?? Is this correct.
TIA
B&C cleaned up well light surface rust from bring in the salt air., working on the saw, seems to have a ton of comp,,,
From Vancouver Island, PO said ran when parked.

here’s a 026 kit same idea, husky would just come with the recoil covers while the earlier stihl came with a new air filter cover with an extra shield riveted on and the recoil cover. What is with the blue on the cover?

Two files comprising the IPL -- very high resolution and may take a minute or two to download. Never did compress it.
Orange top 61 in my opinion the best 60cc class saw, can’t complain of the service mine has given professionally and home use since 1994, goes hard and been trouble free
Keith here,
