I’ve got an old 3-in-1 oil bottle full of mix oil that I use.

I actually use 3-In-One Oil. A little goes a long way. I just finished up a 3 oz. can I inherited with my Dad's stuff 20 years ago. Its only use was for lubing saw bearings and top ends for reassembly -- and conjuring up happy memories.

Is the Husqvarna 38 a true Husky design, or does someone else design it. It kinda looks like a miniature McBrick.

There were 2 versions of this 38 and 38VR chainsaw you have?

Then you have 38 / see the website mike / I recently watched VR versions available for purchase. Smaller engine sizes were also found in this 35cc and 33cc chainsaw

Anyone seen one of these before? It's a 371 dog with the later-style common 372 big dog spike pattern but the early style extra mounting tab.

I've got several of them. The original style came on the 371 when it was first introduced. Then it was discovered that those spikes/dawgs are too aggressive for the 371/372 style platform
and they were discontinued. They work better on the 385/390, but you have to cut that little tab off.

Those ones are a re-pop from Bryce.

I thought the finish didn’t look factory, thanks for the clarification on that. The big set you sent me is still happily residing on my 372XPW, I really appreciate you hooking me up with them as they’re just what that saw needed.

Ok, so it is a Solo design. Thank you. I haven't cut with it yet.

My aunt had the 33 version for years and it wasn't a bad little saw. Even if you let it sit with fuel in it for a long time, it would start right up.

It came new with a 14" bar.

Some of those little clamshell saws are good runners, Nice and light for us geezers.

[/CYTAT]
Just take into account that on the Mike website not everything is 100% correct and it happens that the same model designation has an older and newer saw
