I have the first version of the 545. I like it a lot. It cuts very good. It got even better after I did the muffler mod. My only complaint is it has a slight bog off idle if you don't let it warm up for about 30 seconds.

Thanks. If they end up sitting around for awhile I'll talk to the boss about how good of a deal they can make on them.

The mark 2 is a little bigger and heavier than mine, but supposedly have more power and none of the issues the first ones had. I think mine is a 2016. It's light and handles great. I like it.

You won't be disappointed, its a pretty good saw stock. The full wrap handle and spike kit is ridiculously cheap for OEM also, check Dukes saw salvage for the best price.

Its just passed its first test, noodling Aussie Yellowbox. Ran great.

Had some fun today with my 394, currently running a 24" with 3/8 and 7t sprocket, keen to try 20", 3/8 and 8t

I have a 394, use the 24" full chisel on a 8t, seems to love it.
Any bigger bar I switch to a 7t
That's cutting Blue Gum and Oak
