Plenty of em in my area. Almost every farmer has one. Also was one of the most sold saws before feller bunchers and delimbers really started to take over the logging industry.

I wouldn't mine having a couple top covers.

Keep me in mind. Would be happy with a project if it just needed torn down (or was already a box o' parts) and a TLC rebuild.

Yeah, I have a bunch of extra parts from my shenanigans too. I have one more to build, may not get around to it until summer.

Need some help on my 61 white top build. I need to know the thread size and pitch on the flywheel side of the crankshaft.

I'm getting the cases together on my build and I just noticed the thread on the flywheel side of the crank is just a little bit buggered up at the tip and I can't thread the flywheel nut on. I was actually threading that nut on to protect the threads even though I was going to hit it with a dead blow. Needed to center the crank as it was just barely rubbing the case from being not centered.

Thanks guys

There were two sizes. 503-22 10-02 is an M10x1 for the earlier cranks and 503 22 10-11 is an M8x1 for later models. A white top will more than likely have an M10x1 crank thread.
