So basically what your saying is that if the seals were in there wrong i probably would have blown them out of the saw? My tester goes up to like 100psi Might have to try maxing her out tomorrow.

For the record I did say it was my first leakdown test..

I just have a miti vac but on my second one has it’s built kinda cheap, just need to order my Stihl tool set they have a nice one in there along with all the oem carb and muffler blocks

I’d suspect they would as long as the rest was blocked well carb and intake wise. The 250’s clamp the seals pretty well plus I put motoseal on the outside surface of the seal along with case seam to really seal it up where the seal meets the pan joint

This one held at 40 without missing a beat. I would send a video but I'm currently trying to figure out why the exhaust was spitting fire when I put a bar on...

I've gotten spoiled by larger frame stihls. I can yank apart a 460,660, 880 in little to no time at all. I guess if I had more experience with huskies I would be a little better off. I just get frustrated when I work on them. Like with the intake boot. Short of taking off the jug, i had to take half of the saw apart to get it out of there

I ain't gonna lie, I find Stihls easier than husky's. But I'm not gonna say the husky is so much harder just more screws and some weird pass throughs.

I don’t mind the 020t/200 to work on but the other ones are a bit of a pain. The only 540t I had I never stripped down and looking at videos that’s one I didn’t care to put forth the effort foe a gen 1 saw that wasn’t great to start with
