I am guessing it’s a lot of aftermarket parts. My clone 372 was a major disappointment, it Ran sounded good, had amazing compression,,but was a turd, now power, to me the Ft cylinder just isn’t good! I had was too much squish even with a bgd. Had to have a buddy machine the base to get .020 squish. It was at .055 with a bgd!!

what is comp? Did you use ft rings? And what’s the squish? Did you do a bgd?

I'm confused...you say "it has about 1/4 of the power
it should have"...

It's a Husky...that's FULL POWER for a Husky...

Not fair to compare it to a real saw.

Your not wrong..lol

365 is one of their best saws in my opinion. A little heavy but once they are running, they are hard to break

I've gotten spoiled by larger frame stihls. I can yank apart a 460,660, 880 in little to no time at all. I guess if I had more experience with huskies I would be a little better off. I just get frustrated when I work on them. Like with the intake boot. Short of taking off the jug, i had to take half of the saw apart to get it out of there

All it would take is a Stihl 441 to "flip the script" on this. A Husqvarna 540 will flip it right back. They all have some engineering marvels out there. Actually some of the earlier series Husqvarna saws are quite easy to work on.
I've always said, your first saw rebuild should be a Mini Mac, if you can do that, then you're qualified to fix anything and everything seems easy in comparison.
One tip I can give to folks is get the manual for the saw you are wrenching on. Might be a trick tip or tool or even doing it in the right sequence can make the job easier for you. With a short read can have it straight in your mind on how to tackle your project and go to it. After that it will be old hat and nothing to it.

runs and idles fine, but has like virtually no power in the cut. You reckon it's the seals?
If it will idle while you turn the saw
Physically over
It's not the seals.
Check and see if the throttle cable is
In it's seat in the handle
It's very common to get it misaligned while reassembling the 362/365/372 and jonsereds equivalent
It will stop it from getting to full throttle.
Just pop the filter cover off and manually
Hold the throttle open.

Most Stihls are great except for the 462, used one at front and aft of my boat during last hurricane. Outstanding for that!

Just a firewood hack here, just hand me a good running saw with a sharp chain. 1-2 seconds per cut, just helps me keep cutting and less brushing.
