Yes cast iron bore currently.

About what it felt like yesterday before the score. Flat line tractor type power. Last 572 would out run it up top.

Since you can sleeve jugs...it would also be kinda fun to mess with making a 48mm bore 562xp....I'm not sure I would keep the strato arrangement intact though. I have a 562xp project saw that could be devoted to such hackery.

I watched the breakin video and didn't think it ran bad? Almost 5ft lbs of torque ain't too shabby!
I imagine that lossing some HP out of the base didn't help.
I'm just seriously impressed with the process of sleeving the cylinder. I imagine that you could turn an open port jug into a closed port with a sleeve?

Same 565 and ported 572 runs.

Round 3, (2nd time on dyno)

Pink line is right off the bench.
Light blue is a bit of timing advance.

Remove the filter, and power stays the same, wonder what will happen if I swapped a 572 carb on? Or is it possible to flash a 572 firmware onto This?

Table flat powerband, but won't reach up...

Could be the porting, and may still need to seat in.

Leaving it as is till after Kevin's gtg. Let people run the snot out of it or burn it up, whichever comes first.

Discuss? I'd love to hear some thoughts and opinions.........

Any reason you picked a 565 over a 572 to mod?
Im not sure what the difference are other than more restrictive transfere caps?
