I made a few cuts today. Feels like husky. Took the cover off. Cylinder is extra low. No transfer caps. Strangely small air filter. So short stroke big bore. Not usual for husqvarna

From the pictures it looks like the air filter is bigger than what the 562 has?

I'm liking the increased chain speed (per Husqvarna's US website specs) over the 562. It's not much, but in critical situations it all matters.

Time will tell.

Edit: I must've looked at the specs backwards, as the 564 is a hair slower, not faster.

Thats a fairly meaningless spec.
Ita chain speed under load that counts.

What some YouTubers are claiming Stihl got their idea from husky on the injection saws but I really doubt it been like 15 or more years that Stihl’s been testing injection with the ts 500i first then the ms 500i in field and before that with the carbon concept modified ms441. I actually am curious how close huskies system is to Stihl and who’s making the injection for them ect.

Fuel injected two strokes were around 30+ years ago. So it was neither "idea".

a tiny magneto powered circuit chip has to have a very limited function, probably only able to adjust rich or lean, I doubt the autotune-mtronic's are able to retard or advance timing.

I have always thought, (I may be wrong) that it is strange the the manufactures recommend such a high octane fuel with so low of a compression ratio, I often wondered if it was because of very agressive total timing that is not variable

The timing of a saws ignition is a variable rate curve and has been for a long time.
Autotune and Mtronic do not adjust timing, just fuel. The ignition curve is covered by the module. I am quite certain they could adjust the timing but then you would want to have a knock sensor.

Yes, like since the late 80’s; I think Echo first tried that, although they started with step timing and not fully variable.

It's not really important who is first and what how if so, the most important thing is that they deliver good products to the customers.

I'm really looking forward to MaskinSalg calling me and saying that my 564 xpg has arrived. I think it's around November 17th.

I'm going to have 15, 20, 28", will be my all-rounder.

564 xpg is very expensive in Norway, around $2000.
I sold my 560xpg, and 2 x 254 xpg, and is about break even for a 564, and I spent maybe $1200 on the three in total build.

The only extra I will have for the 564 xpg is wrap handles with heat, don't know when the grip will be available.
