As long as Husqvarna's parts lists are correct, the 560 mk II is delivered with a 325 7T
...and the 562xp has the 3/8"-7 on it, which would make it a large spline, this would need a new drum and worm gear to convert to a small spline sprocket. As long as Husqvarna's parts lists are correct, the 560 mk II is delivered with a 325 7T
yup...and the 562xp has the 3/8"-7 on it, which would make it a large spline, this would need a new drum and worm gear to convert to a small spline sprocket.
I also prefer the small spline, 325 7T, 325 8T, 3/8 7T, I think that gives excellent options on a 60cc.I'll add that to the list of things I immediately change.
I tried a .325"-9 rim on my 254xp with mixed results, okay for limbs and small stuff, bucking seems to pull it down too much and I believe it will buck faster with a 7 pin sprocket. Or go with an 8 pin for all around usage, which my cousin likes on his 254 he uses for clearing.I also prefer the small spline, 325 7T, 325 8T, 3/8 7T, I think that gives excellent options on a 60cc.
In Scandinavia, the 560 mk1 always came equipped with the 325 58ga b&c, would be very surprised if HVA suddenly moved away from the 325 as the standard setup on the 560.
I had a talk with my dealer and he insists the only difference is the electronics. He thinks another redesigned 562XP (mark iii?) is due out soon.Dealer got mark2 on stock so I bought one yesterday. I made few cuts with the saw. I feel no difference in ergonomy or weight between the 2021 model. It feels slow but I don't own any stock saw..
That's unfortunate.I had a talk with my dealer and he insists the only difference is the electronics. He thinks another redesigned 562XP (mark iii?) is due out soon.
No, what I can see on the parts list (if it's correct though) is mostly a newly designed chainsaw from the bottom up, crank without stuffers etc.I had a talk with my dealer and he insists the only difference is the electronics. He thinks another redesigned 562XP (mark iii?) is due out soon.

Completely new saw, autotune 3, crankshaft, dished piston, cylinder, ...That's unfortunate.
That's what I thought as well, Tor. I'm not sure where he's getting this info. He probably thinks I'm dumb enough to buy a Mark I he has in stock. No, what I can see on the parts list (if it's correct though) is mostly a newly designed chainsaw from the bottom up, crank without stuffers etc.
PS, this is the list at the moment with guaranteed to be a whole bunch of bugs
Awesome.Completely new saw, autotune 3, crankshaft, dished piston, cylinder, ...
There are many dealers who do not keep up with the updates Husqvarna has on existing models. That's what I thought as well, Tor. I'm not sure where he's getting this info. He probably thinks I'm dumb enough to buy a Mark I he has in stock.
I called a different dealer before he closed up shop and asked about availability and info on the Mark II. He's going to talk with Husky in Athens and give me some feedback. I may have one in my grubby paws soon. There are many dealers who do not keep up with the updates Husqvarna has on existing models.
The big update that was on the 560 and 562 mk1 was when they replaced the short block with a new crank and identical crank bearings on both sides. Then and there they had changed the top cover, air filter, the entire bottom part, and a whole bunch of other parts along the way.
Now I don't know if they have managed to keep the 560 and 562 mk II powerhead as slim as the mk1, if they have, they have possibly made the best 60cc they have ever made.
They feel identical in my hands. I have 2021 562xpg. I'm porting mark 2 now and we shall see if it can beat old versionThere are many dealers who do not keep up with the updates Husqvarna has on existing models.

Mark three we haven’t even gotten Mark two out on the shelf yet?I had a talk with my dealer and he insists the only difference is the electronics. He thinks another redesigned 562XP (mark iii?) is due out soon.
Here where I live, we got a lot of dealers that don’t know. Excuse my French their ass from a chainsaw. There are many dealers who do not keep up with the updates Husqvarna has on existing models.
