Great looking dog you got there Huskhil !

Nothing like grenwing's for duck meat
Yep. Greenies marinated in Italian dressing and oj overnight. Wrap in bacon and grill for 10 minutes. Best ever.

That was October last year. 11-1/2 mo old. Sumbitch weighs 120 lbs now. Gonna be like pulling 10 sacks of potatoes into the boat this year

Mine weights 85 pounds and when he goes fetch an Eider at sea and gets pushed around by 3 foot waves I feel he a bit too small. But you are right. A 120 pound dog to get in a duck boat is a challenge

Burr oak isn't hard it's like any other oak. If you want hard try shagbark hickory or hard maple.
I cut a lot of shagbark, you definitely do not want to have an underpowered saw

Best hope you've got a saw that oils good too or your chain will have a burned on yellow tan film that seems like it just eats up all the oil your pumping out. The mill I sell to has a system that sprays water on the band on the head rig to help prevent caking on the band.

How bout another pic? The last 3/4 wrap lasted a week on my 064. I like the half wrap for flush cutting stumps. So im giving the 3/4 wrap a go with the 562. plus new oem dawgs.

I've been waiting on some Nate spikes for mine. Need to go bug him again I guess.

I went the awol route [emoji106]
These oem ones suit me. bigger than stock yet not too big.
I should have ordered a set as well. I thought Nate would have cut more by now.

How bout a pic before anymore blemishes. I've never dealt with the gray clutch cover before. They are easy to scratch up for sure!

Might be time for some Nate dawgs.
