Ok guys.

I went to pick up my saw at post office from Misouri after 14 days of traveling through the many post offices in the USA and Canada

I try to install the bar and chain and one of my bar studs lost .200" after it's trip see attached photos. I cannot screw the THEM bar but.

To say I am pissed is an understatement. Saw as been flawless since 2014.

First photo is the stud closest to the clutch
HELP how can I fix that !image.jpeg

Thanks Scarr52.

I will try tonight.

How long a punch do I need ?

I am just too damn pissed right now. I think I need to calm down.

I sent the thing to Misouri from Laval, Canada ! I went with what I read in the forum.

I feel like I should not have got the saw back like that. Totally wrong and un professional

You think Alan knocked the bar studs into your saw??!

I don't think he's implying that at all. Please remember he's not English first language, having to deal with many French Canadians I read that as he can't wait to see what the saw is like after Alan working it over.

Poorly expressed his disappointment that he saw got damaged during the trip and if it was going to be an expensive fix maybe he shouldn't have sent it out at all.

Guys you are right. I overreacted.

It is most likely the 2 week trip with USPS to Canada that did it.

Hedgerow don't be pissed off. I was pissed and I most certainly sorry.

Like I said it took me 15 sec to put it back.

Home lure 410 the muffler goes fantastic. Like Allan said it is a good bit louder now. LOL.

Alan I am sorry and I apologize for comments made without proper thinking

No offense taken. When I had a bar bolted to the saw everything worked good. Is it possible that I didnt pack it well enough and the bar nut banged against the box and shoved it in? Did you happen to see what USPS charged for the two week First Class trip that it took??!!

Looks nice. Might cut better if you turn the chain around.

From the horror stories I see from experiences with USPS the studs most likely got banged around during the multiple transports.

As for your packaging. I tought everything looked good. All is well.

I will go put back the chain the right way now. Next pictures will be with wood tomorrow

CIAO !
