Well wee weren't exactly standing in Brazil, but I see your point.

Personally, I'm glad you and our sneaky cousin sent me that large mount Stihl bar: I plan to be getting it Dirty within the next month.

bar studs are too close for adapter....i tried it. We just modify it or what?
fyi: my adapter fit on a dolmar 7900 but not 562

That Dolmar 7900's have studs that are closer together that I think Homelite410 makes a special adaptor for. The regular who he makes should work fine. DDave as C^3 should sell both.

I have modified them adapters to work with various saws. However I usually now just use the correct bar for the saw. When the stihl 28" light came out, I needed it on my 681 Solo. I got some adapters with Sugi bars once that looked like springs......I tossed them not knowing what they were.

I remember trying that one on a 562 somebody's I knew.... it did not work you are correct. The other one looks pretty promising.

Any bar mods needed?
