New OEM only the 357 jug is available now.
Aftermarket p/c kit for 359 is $48. I'm wondering if that is a better kit than 357 being 2mm bigger for a ported saw. Really all I need is 359 rings and porting or whole 357 top and porting. Wondering which would yield best performance according to OPE members. Thanks

Aftermarket is not better than anything OEM. The cc doesn't come into it.
+1 to this. I have been able to run both models ported by multiple builders and in the end I cannot honestly say one or the other is noticeably stronger at the log. Stock is a different story. I would use what you have if you're sending it off.

Can anyone confirm that a 066 Stihl wrist pin will fit a 357/359 with no mods?
