I'm gonna try to get to mine before the GTG Matty.

I'll be bothering you on the phone a bunch.

I'm gonna need to make a 44.3mm mandrel, or figure out how to machine that riser.
You need any machining Al, send it on down here. I'll take care of it for ya buddy.

Far as I can see...no point in the kafar kit. UK kit is similar...cheap. ..better cast and more complete. I'll be grinding on this one today.

But...oem isn't much more expensive.

Interesting. ...I think there IS a point to buying the hyway kit. But I'll share that at the gtg. When we do the comparison. ...people won't be able to tell which saw is which by the looks :) we will run them....then talk about which is which after :)
Did I miss the point. Inquiring minds want to know.
Thanks for the write up to.

I like the plating on the hyway kit, and it plates all the way up the combustion chamber. If you aren't going to cut squishband, then get the hyway kit. If you are cutting squishband, buy the oem. Thats my opinion at this point.

Thanks for the quick response.
No cutting going on here, so you know which way I'd be going :).
What is the price difference these days between the two.

you are probably better with oem from a price standpoint too... 105 shipped from Spike60 last I checked.

I think hyway ported, without squish cut is great and what I use, but stock oem, or ported squish cut oem is the way to go

Ok.
I was talking with someone else and they had told me they could get an oem much cheaper than that. I have no need at present as I sold the 353 and 350 builders, but you know how quick that changes :D.

oem cylinders used to be somewhere around 300$$$ or so. as of Jan 1 this year that all changed. $105 is a fine price, shipped, and Spike60 knows what he is talking about. If you can find an oem cylinder kit for $75 or less go for it, but otherwise buy from @Spike60 .... his knowledge is worth the price, and he isn't charging a huge premium.

$101.86 is the current retail, so $105.00 shipped to your door is actually a pretty good bargain.
