I’m overdue on an update for this project. I tried unsuccessfully about 4 times to get the 87 carb to run right, but I couldn’t get it. I finally found a good used 144 carb and rebuilt it this morning and put it on the saw. The saw started right up and tuned easily.
The saw pulls pretty well, and I think it’s ready to go to Tim (Steve’s father).
