Got the 2nd prototype set today.
Everything seems to work as planned.

27 49 cover with the Husky 372 style roller.
Same with 395 style roller

22 54 with Stihl type roller (AM)

Looking at around $12ea plus some shipping, depending on their final price for a bulk order.
Just the dogs. Hardware can be found at any decent hardware store like ACE.
Rollers can be found on EBay, both husky type and Stihl.

I have the one without the chain brake. I forgot that I have a chain catcher on it, though still just one dog.

Check the pt# inside
That style can use either of the 2 outers.

I finally got my order of dogs in the other day. ( see info in the 2100 thread)
While these are mainly for the 2100/2101 series saws, they should work fine for others with the same case and clutch covers.

price: $12/dog
shipping: whatever's cheapest but should be in the $5-8 range for the lower 48. I can figure out other locations as needed.

I’m not selling hardware or rollers. I got the lock nuts and bolts at my local hardware store and the rollers online.

I couldn't wait, rebuilt mine with a 272 that I found, split the cases at the same time too, lucky that I didn't get parts mixed up. I was going to wait until I got all the parts for my 2100, but didn't and started working on it while still getting parts for it.

How long it take you to build yours? I may have finished in a year, but will be putting it in another case this winter.

I probably worked on it for about a year, it got to the point where I had to wait for parts or wait for parts to be repaired to continue.

Several parts held me up. Top handle, miscellaneous oiler chingaderas, intake elbow................................

Starting with just a bare case/crank with crusty bearings was D U M B dumb.
