I am actually thinking of using the large sized baffle
You can cut the piston and get the same results.Well about the same.If you are worried about f--king up the piston get another one and carve on it .Ok, but I want to be really sure that Its going to help it before I start grinding.
Pristine KS 2100 cylinders don't grow on trees.
I might widen the exhaust a smidge while I am in there

I probably have a screw loose, but I would not touch anything..
What about squish?
Stock gasket is .055, no gasket is .028
I haven't done anything to it besides replacing the coil and rebuilding the carb and some incidentals. It might not be stock any way .It came from some island of Washington state with a V stack and a K and N filter . I have a D-handle on it so it might have had some work done even before I got it .I just assume it was some loggers saw at one time .Have you timed yours Al?
I would love to know your numbers for comparison sake.
That muffler mod turned out better than I expected. Nice work, do you think the size is much bigger tgen stock?
