They cut about the same speed as our stock 390xp, just less torque.

I've had a few guys compare them to the 390, and that's consistent with what I'm hearing. "Really close to a 390, but you can lean on the 390 more than the 572."

All serious users. Those guys are cutting timber, not cookies. :)

I’ve had the opportunity to run a CFB ported 572 quite a bit over the last couple of months straight Danger Tree falling on a Pipeline ROW. I’m extremely impressed with this saw, tons of torque for the size and probably the smoothest chainsaw I’ve ever run. There’s no doubt a new 572 will be entering my line up and heading to Mike in the near future.

What size bars?[emoji6] With 20" to 24" I would agree, maybe even 28". The 390 is really choked up stock.

Havent run a 572 yet, but definitely agree the 390 is choked up from the factory - after Brad Snelling did mine it was a whole different animal.

Brad had a really good recipe for the 390, ive seen a couple videos of his that were very impressive.

Tell us more :)

any problems?, she getting stronger?
No problems lately other than me being an idiot having a log roll on it and smash the brake flag (you can see it’s missing the flag in my picture above). I am waiting on a new one to come in the mail. As for it getting stronger? I broke it in a year and half ago. I’d say it definitely hasn’t gotten any weaker.

You say no problems lately, did you have some problems with them?

Nothing more than breaking the left rear spring mount and replacing the bent handlebar when a tree fell on it. Also normal maintenance stuff I’ve done. Sparkplug, fuel filter, clean the airfilter ect.
