I still think the original 50mm 372, 046 magnum and original 7900 dolmar red top were some of the pinnacle achievements for older 70cc class saws before the epa stepped in. But I think the 572 is the future saw of the next generation. If that makes sense?
I never run 70 cc saws much but that brady new 572 Bob brought to Dan's felt smooth. I like smooth.
Maybe my 362 Mtron will impress me with some mods. The carbed saw took well to them. About the same performance in stock trim. They're both early edition saws.

You seem to have found your new favorite saw holding up well in a full time role. Good deal.

Oh God, no hurt feelings Mike. I just thought it was funny how it keeps going on page after page. Had to check the thread title to be sure where I was. :) That's why I was being silly myself. I actually agree with most of your points here. Especially the one about two saws of the same displacement being so different.

Business is off the charts busy. Population doubled with people escaping the city. Most were cool; some hilarious. Guy bought a saw last week. Showed him where the mix and chain oil go. Then he asks, "after how many hours should I change the oil?" Some of these folks might be safer staying in the city.

So, what do you think? Beatles or Stones? LOL
Stoned Beetles

City Slickers comes to mind :)

Residential and logging are two different things. 462= tree guys saw. 572= loggers saw.
But we still carry 35-90cc saws on the truck because we don't walk all day in the woods. That is the reason I run 35, 42, 59 and 92cc saws. I did bring the 260 with a 20" skip chain to buck small pine limbs this week but normally don't unless a lift is on site. The 100cc+ are usually not on the truck for work saws.

Had no idea this became a loggers work thread, cool

572 was running weird Monday. Thought it was the fuel line, but it ended up being the plug. Take a good look at the terminal. Yeah she was toast... And yet many don’t trust the technology... to me it’s a game changer.
When I got my first auto tune saw...I shidded. I couldn't believe how well its throttle response was, how it always had excellent power regardless of temp or elevation.

The latest machines are AWESOME

Yep I can't wait until husky has an auto tune that is around 90cc. :tmnt::tmnt:

That’d be nice or something in between the 395/3120 that’s lighter.

You listening Husqvarna? I adore my mmws 395xp...but if a 595 came out tomorrow my 395 would be for sale. No bs, and the 395 is among the most mighty saws I've gotten to run.

The problem is in the world itself now, with all the shít that’s gone on lately it’s no surprise most of the companies really haven’t introduced anything new. Unfortunately :(.
