Makes sense, think I’ll round up stuff and see what happens on my 2253!My question with the 550 is the stuffers. I bought the 545 because in theory, it should be able to push more mix thru the crankcase, especially ported. I don't know if it makes a difference in real life though. I guess I'll have to try it. The parts to convert it minus the carb cost me less than $50.
When I have time gonna try this on one of my ported 550s, with and without stuffers. Deleted stuffers might give more torque...
I have lots of extra 562 parts...

You might want to install the higher rev limit coil from a 550 on the 545.I'm trying to replicate the power delivery and feel of your 346XP in a 5 series saw. That thing was mean.
