Mine leaks like a sieve too. Have to empty the dam oiler after every use.

I've tried venting the oil tank afterwards and it still leaks. Is there an easy way to fix it?

Don't mean to derail yer thread Brewz, just curious. The rebuild looks great! You will enjoy it!

This one doesnt leak.

What area is this oil coming from?
I would say the leak comes from the seal between the oil pump and case.

I have this issue with a 2100 and I cant get parts for it.

Another tick for the stihls, non of my Stihls leak :)

Nor mine. Unless it's a piss rev. Then it flows like tears from the clutch cover

So true.

Not entirely sure but seems like it starts at the oil pump. I should just try replacing the seal and see if that fixes it.

On a oem cylinder it would be 030,I'm curious about the am one.
I assume it's a 395bb cylinder?

That's because the husky never stops oiling, running or not.
The bed of your truck, inside the tool box,on the shop floor,on the bench,it doesn't care,it's a equal opportunity oiler.

Not true, I have a 346 that is dry, doesn't leak a drop when sitting. Admittedly it is a freak, but my 272 isn't bad either.
