Ak sk? If I had to gues it'd be sk? I'm pretty curious. I snagged an ak from a friend and I've got it out on loan But my bolt looks different than that I think

Yes it is different, Mine is a SKS, It Is not same as a AK. but they both run the same 7.62. ammo.

Back in 1984 we had three AKS, And three SKS, Not see much difference in them. They both seem to shoot the same to me. I will say that they do not jam up like my 742 Remington.

Took this guy with a ruger 77MKII .243 stainless sporter which is a damn accurate rifle. Whoever thinks that a .243 is too light for 150# deer has read too many magazines...

My G23 carry gun. I was raised on a Colt 1911 and love them to this day. I figure that God forbid I ever get mixed up in a shoot, if I'm out a Glock, so be it. I'm more of a revolver guy though. I love the feel of the 1860 Army Colt, Ruger Blackhawk Bisleys and other such revolvers. I have a Taurus 608 8-shot .357 which is a damn accurate revolver. 200 yards on a 2' wide x 5' tall steel pipe is not too hard unsupported. I also have a 4" 629-6 that I like a lot and talked Dad into buying a 6" blued model 57 classic in .41 mag which is a fine and accurate weapon. He likes it almost as much as the 6" blued (w/original box and grips) 95% condition Colt Python that I helped Him buy. It's a Rolls-Royce of a revolver. We have plenty of other toys, but not as much as we want. I'me debating between a .338WM, .375 H&H and .416 Rigby currently. There are a few more revolvers I want to include a S&W 625 in .45 acp, a good .22 revolver and either a .460 Smith XVR or a BFR single action in either .45 Colt or .30-30 for handgun hunting, not that the other revolvers won't work, but I find a longer sight radius comforting in hunting situations.

Are you planning on going to Africa?

That's some fire power right there.

I like my Dan Wesson .357 I have a six inch barrel on it looking for a 2 inch also tools for the change out.
Heres a pic of one

That's the only revolver that I ever shot. I kick myself for not buying it. The guy was hard up for cash and wanted $100 for it....

I was told that barrels and the tool can be hard to come across

I sold a Glock model 30, .45 about two years ago to a buddy of mine...just never could get used to the grip on it for some reason, even with a mag extension for the small finger. My hands are a little big though and long fingers...too much master-debating I suppose, lol.

Why I've never liked 1911's,just don't fit my hand. A Commander size comes close. Big palms, short fingers and a lot of meat in my thumb/forefinger web.
