I’m somewhat new to this forum and surfing around found this thread. Title made chuckle.

My 3 saw plan is/ was:
Dolmar 109 (built and converted to 115 by friend of mine)
Another Dolmar 115
Husky 340/ 346 also made and ported to oblivion by my friend
And this is where thing started to go funny, I decided to build one more saw because whynot, there is no such thing as enough good chainsaws.
346XPG NE
136 for little twigs and such things
Barnfind Husky 263CD which went through cylinder and piston swap from old Husky L77
Husky 160S my neighbor gave me. Was in really bad shape after spending years under gutter
One more 346XPG from OE to NE
Husky 357XPG because I needed saw with tad bit more oomph
Cheap abused 351G converted to 346XPG because it was lonely and needed new caring home
At the moment on the bench is one more 357 XPG waiting lazy ass Italians to ship new parts.
If I just could find 372XP…

Ok, that looks like 11 saws. That's not a bad 3 saw plan, but I think you can do better than that...

500i ported with muff mod 32" bar
( Before the 500i a 461 then 462)

661c Ported with muff mod 42" bar

Haven't run into anything that couldn't be handled with this trio. I've personally put all these saws through hell with the exception of the 500i (still waiting on its arrival). I did end up blowing the 461 after about 4 years of commercial tree work and using it through 4 fire clean up operations.

Welcome. Your nickname sounds familiar. I’m down S of where ever you are in CA.
