Here’s where fellers get sideways with the “3 saw plan” they think it means only have 3 saws total. Fellers that’s all wrong!

It really means buy them in groups of 3. Also owning a quantity ending in a 3 is acceptable. For example if Jeb has 23 saws in his 3 saw plan, he might be a little light in the loafers, but he’s doing alright. Well at least as far as his 3 saw plan is concerned.;)

inventory- at shop dolita 64xx, dolmar 79xx, dolmar 112 stilh 084, home dolmar 64xx, 7900, echo 310? normally the 112 is at home brought it down for a friend to use as his saw was having problems - older stilh 034 or 036 don't remember which, just that parts needed were a bit tough to get.

My saws are in my sig. I’m in the desert in Stihl country and they don’t much float my boat, just like what I’m familiar with, so I have to buy what I want to try, mostly on here. Still in process of buying and trying. Love the 7900, it kills everything near it’s weight. Might sell my two 2166s. Love my 3120, I say it’s like Thor’s hammer of saws. 395 for longish bars but not as heavy. Felling big stuff mostly. 2 series huskies…I like them. 670 (sold) was cool and 630(for sale) is cool but too many saws on that platform. The 7900 makes them Moot…gonna have @huskihl build me a 272 to try. I really like the 6100…but it’s kinda heavy nice and $$$ (I won it) and so I mostly play with it. I have 3 saws now in the 2159/357 family, like them…but the whole extension thing @Catbuster mentioned has me thinking about getting a 346 from @Funky sawman and sending it to @huskihl…and then running a long, light bar on it like @Benwa. My 261 is cool for a Stihl and I thought about having Kevin port it, but since bars n stuff don’t interchange with other saws, it’s for sale.

projects…anxious to build my box of 288 pieces…maybe keep it stock for lower rpm dry euc cutting tractor saw.

super xL 925…it was almost free, token older bigger saw.

I have a thing for 2050s as that’s what I started with. Light and snappy. None run now, need to remedy that…might not really need that 346…

2139…loved the power when it ran good but it’s kinda heavy for true one handing or a lot of it. I can’t keep it running well (will pay for
Good tech to tackle it). Brings me to 2511…basically a nice light necessary evil. I don’t like dealing with limbs and such. Maybe muff mod n stuff maybe get ported.

I’m sure I’m forgetting some…
Bring that 2511 up next time and ill port it for you, with a 1/4 pitch 14" bar its my 1 saw plan!

Jeebus my 3 saw plan just keeps changing all the time.
I’m at a one saw plan now
My go to saw for the quad is a 572 with a 20” bar in a husky power box strapped to the front. I find that it is a good middle ground for downed trees on the trail and the ability to freehand cut boards for ramps and creek crossings.

I have a 3120, 395, 372, 572, 562 and a t525 all with various bars from 12 to 42” lol

My 3 saw plan are 350/346, 357, 372, 394. That covers all I would ever need unless I ever get a 3120 for milling big slabs.
But I will never get rid of my husky 2100, it's not practical at all but I love using it.

Up to 63 saws now. The number has to have a 3 in it? Maybe a few in the garage or under the bench I forgot about. Have a small list of wanted saws yet. Only ported saws in my signature now.

I was thinking a 3 saw plan consisted of 3 saws!
How yous guys are stretching that number is beyond me.
I googled it & the Sesame Street #3 came up.
According to them, you choose 2 & add 1!
