I can remember when us gearheads were chasing down that size rim from a ‘49’-‘51 Mercury to replace the 16” on pre ‘49 Fords.

Nowadays everyone is rolling around on 16” & 17”.

Matt returned one of my saws with a chain that looked like that crap, and 3 of the cutters were square filed...WTH!!!! Must have hit the bottom of the Wild Turkey bottle when he got to my chain. I can hear him now, "I'm going to fix Thomas up with a whoop ass chain, LMAO"...

Up date on Dan. This is from his wife.

He is sitting up. Hopefully he will be getting out of bed about noon. His left eye is very swollen, not seeing out of it yet. Time will tell if he will have sight back there.

I had a Dolmar with there "18" bar that was 64dl but it was in .050 flavor. The local Stihlership had a loop on hand in the Echo aisle.

So maybe someone left 2 links off of it at the Stihl dealer?

It has to be a really tight bale and also depends on the width and diameter.

Lots of variables on your question it depends on the make of the baler (some balers just make tighter better bales), size of bale, type of hay, condition of the hay & the operator (although not so much any more) . My Dad & brothers Vermeer M’s are 5’x6’ bales, light grass hay can get down around 1200#, good alfalfa can get up around 1800# or better. Most of theirs average right around the 1500# - 1600#. Then you can have weight loss over time, that varies on whether they were string tied or net wrapped & how it was stored, inside or outside. There you go a long winded answer for a simple question.
