Just drove thru sprinkles on way up from KC.

I29 still closed. Traffic picked up on hiway 36 again.
Don’t look for 29 to open anytime soon, I have been running to Omaha all week & the water is still coming up, 29 has been closed north of Council Bluffs for 2 days & Gavins Point has upped outflow the last 2 days. It has rained off/on this afternoon around Omaha/Council Bluffs.

They're right.
I've helped at 4 tornado aftermaths. Joplin, Mo. Moore, Oklahoma. Branson, Mo and Ozark, Mo. They're a different kind of work. Ozark was the easiest. Mostly just Bradford Pears. Branson was probably the hardest. Cutting fallen trees off of houses and out of roadways is dangerous. They're twisted loaded springs and seeing downed power lines, in brush, is difficult at best.
If you're going to go help, be extremely careful.
