Raining north of us again this morning, started around Omaha & moving across I80, drifting south, was forecast for 80 sunny today, must of been the thought of mowing hay that brought this on....

Won’t be doing that anytime soon
Mowed lawn yesterday and tires were throwing water but grass was dry. [emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959][emoji2959]

@Hinerman. Isn’t there a WW2 Battleship or sub down there around the Port of Muskogee? I seem to recall seeing one down in that neck of the woods when I used to go thru there with the truck. I thought it was right along the river. Has the river re-floated it? Hopefully it’s far enough away or on high enough ground to be safe from the flooding.

The USS Batfish is floating again

Last night when I pulled in with the truck, I saw that Dad & my brother had hooked up the disc mower, hay rake & one of the balers so I thought it would be a good time to get my piddly 15acres out of the way before bean planting started again & then everyone & there dog started calling saying they were knocking down hay.

Fellow came by with a MS660 that was racing and spinning the chain. Turned the curb idle speed screw waaaaaaay back out and he is good to go.

Left me this for my trouble.

Would start and die. Roasted top end. 105 psi.

Dibs or parts anyone?

Jason told me to stay away from ‘em. [emoji2960]

go for the 280 topend if you decide to replace.

Wetter the better.

Thursday & Friday were. I was amazed how quickly it cured with the temps we had. The humidity is back now though.
Got 300 rounds wrapped up..
It was wheat that wasn’t gonna be worth a *s-word.
Field is clean and ready for beans..
Unfortunately, we just got hosed with another 2” of rain.

And it was just getting reasonably dried out..
still left 4” tracks with the trailers though.
Had to put the trucks in 4wd and give er hell to get it moving and out of the field.
